MODERN STANDARD ARABIC (MSA) or COLLOQUIAL MORROCCAN ARABIC (CMA)
STANDARD (MSA or CMA) Course: 4 group lessons daily (20 lessons per week)
INTENSIVE (MSA or CMA) Course: 6 group lessons daily (30 lessons per week)
PRIVATE (MSA or CMA) Course: 2 / 4 / 6 private lessons daily
ACCOMMODATION:
RESIDENCE: shared or private room (breakfast 5 days per week, lunch can be purchased at school)
HOST FAMILY: shared or private room (breakfast & dinner daily)
Use of teaching materials and instructional documents.

IMPORTANT NOTES: DRESS CODE & CONDUCT EXPECTED AT SCHOOL /CAMPUS
A dress code is required for both males / females at school:
> Shirts should have sleeves
> No exposed mid-driffs, cleavage or underwear
> Knees should be covered
> No foul or offensive t-shirt slogans
A code of conduct is required when on school premises:
> No recreational drugs or alcohol anywhere on school property.
> No smoking on the school property
> No religious proselytizing is permitted on campus (this prohibition does not include respectful and meaningful discussions related to religion)
> Students (male and female) must adhere to the school dress code anywhere within the public areas of the school property (including the school social areas).
> School computers shall not be used to access pornography or break any local or international laws regarding the proper use of computers and the internet.
> No pork shall be stored or consumed using school-owned utensils.
> Students will not verbally insult other students or staff members.
> Students will not physically insult other students or staff members.
> Students will respect school property and will not intentionally damage or destroy school property in any way.

Airfare, passports, visas or permits, travel and medical insurance, spending money, some optional activities and excursions.
Schools are closed on public holidays.

During Ramadam our school is open and teaches as normal however students have limited access to food.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:
Classes are held Monday to Friday. Accommodations are included in the program price from the Sunday before classes begin until the Saturday after they end.
OPTIONS (AT AN ADDITIONAL COST):
Travel insurance (per week): $30.00
Airport pick-up (Rabat airport): $70.00
Airport pick-up (Casablanca airport): $140.00
Extra Accommodation (per night): from $25.00 to $49.00
Additional excursions & trips can be booked directly with the school upon arrival

Scholorships and Financial Aid
U.S. federal government and other scholarship funds, including but not limited to FLAS, SSRC and NSEP grants, can be applied to the cost of study at our school.
For Fulbright, FLAS, SSRC and NSEP funds, students must apply through the university at which they are enrolled. For further information on these and other funding options, please consult your university department or financial aid office.
For funds to be available for study at Qalam Languages Plus, students should commence the paperwork for funding at least 6 months prior to the date of anticipated enrollment.
